The pay range for this position is $21.38 to $24.87 per hour, depending on education and experience.

This position is located in Rutland, MA.

The schedule for this position is full time, Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm

Devereux Massachusetts and Rhode Island is a nationally recognized organization dedicated to helping children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other psychological, emotional, and behavioral disorders. Through our residential and placement services in the community, we help individuals learn the skills needed for independent living and making meaningful life choices. We provide supportive settings in comfortable home environments and ensure that individuals have access to services that are appropriate to their developmental level, and cognitive, emotional, and social abilities.

As Records Coordinator, you will:

  • Responsible for the daily management and oversight of client records

  • Establishes and maintains client records for all program areas, ensuring that they are compliant with internal and external policies, procedures, and regulations, and ensuring accuracy and integrity of records..

  • Maintain access logs to individuals’ records and maintains the protection of the privacy and security of the individuals’ PHI.

  • Maintain record destruction log.

  • Respond to requests for information from individuals’ records, copying necessary material to be sent out, providing outstanding customer service while doing so.

  • Publishes reports on delinquent required documentation, tracks all required materials and notifies staff of deficits in the record, ensures complete archived records.

  • Train and supervise staff as well as oversee the overall function of the records department.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older

  • Must have valid driver's license

  • High School diploma or GED required. Associate’s Degree and/or certification in medical records preferred.

  • Four years’ experience in record management required .

  • Must be able to attend 3 days of paid new hire orientation Monday-Wednesday 8:00am-4:00pm
