Location: Merrifield, VA – 4 days on-site/ 1 day remote

Annual Salary Range: $95,000 to $105,000 plus benefits

Federal End Customer: US Citizenship, eligibility for a Public Trust clearance required

Overview

We are seeking a talented and motivated Mid-Level Software Engineer to join our client’s growing development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in software engineering principles, hands-on development experience, and a passion for building high-quality software solutions. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and systems.

• Develop clean, efficient, and well-documented code using C, C++, and/or C#.

• Utilize Microsoft Visual Studio for development, debugging, testing, and deployment activities.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to software development best practices.

• Support CI/CD processes and software releases using tools such as Jenkins.

• Work with version control systems, including GitHub, to manage code repositories.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Development, or a related technical field from an accredited university.

• 3+ years of professional software development experience. Experience developing applications using C# and the Microsoft .NET ecosystem. Experience with C/C++ is preferred.

• Proficiency in C, C++, and/or C#.

• Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio.

• Working knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.

• Experience using GitHub or similar version control platforms.

• Familiarity with enterprise environments, including EBS platforms or similar enterprise applications.

• Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

• Knowledge of software testing frameworks and debugging techniques.

• Experience integrating software solutions with enterprise systems and platforms.
