What you'll do...
Role summary:
The (USA) Facilities Maintenance Manager, Licensed Master Electrician, leads the planning, execution, and oversight of facility maintenance operations, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and critical power systems. This role ensures compliance with industry regulations, manages budgets, and drives efficiency through preventive maintenance and sustainability initiatives. The manager collaborates with stakeholders to align business needs with operational goals, supervises teams, and oversees contractor performance. By fostering continuous improvement and maintaining high standards, this position supports the reliable and cost-effective operation of facilities while promoting safety and regulatory adherence.
About the team:
The Facilities Maintenance Operations team ensures optimal performance of facility systems across multiple sites. This team leads project planning, budgeting, and execution while collaborating with vendors and contractors to deliver quality services. Members develop and monitor maintenance programs, implement sustainability initiatives, and focus on continuous improvement and technical expertise. By effectively managing resources, the team supports Walmart’s operational goals, providing reliable facility services that enhance business performance and maintain safe, well-maintained environments. Their commitment to efficiency and excellence drives the ongoing success of facility operations.
What you'll do:

Direct maintenance operations for HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, and critical power systems to ensure optimal facility performance.

Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs and standard operating procedures to enhance equipment efficiency and reliability.

Manage multiple projects by prioritizing work assignments, supervising progress, and ensuring timely completion within budget.

Oversee contractor performance, approve purchases, and monitor costs to maintain financial sustainability.

Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies through regular inspections and training.

Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate facility needs, identify improvements, and support business objectives.

Lead and develop maintenance staff by providing guidance, training, and performance management.
What you'll bring:

Licensed Master Electrician certification with extensive knowledge of electrical systems and maintenance.

Proven experience managing HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, and critical power maintenance operations.

Strong ability to develop and implement preventive maintenance programs and standard operating procedures.

Demonstrated expertise in project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and contractor oversight.

Ability to analyze facility needs, optimize equipment efficiency, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Skilled in leading teams, providing technical training, and fostering continuous improvement.

Proficient in evaluating performance metrics and driving operational excellence aligned with business goals.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Minimum Qualifications...

Licensed Master Electrician and 5 years’ experience in facilities management, construction management, electrical maintenance, engineering, or related area OR 3 years’ experience in the above areas with a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
Master Electrician License or equivalent in the state you will be working.
