Job Title: UKG Analyst 2 - Central Office - Decatur, GA (ADM)Agency: Department of Juvenile Justice Job Requisition ID: JR0000004673Shift: Not Applicable (United States of America)Compensation Details: $59,280.00 Job Description: JOB SUMMARY: Performs a variety of day-to-day functions relating to the operation of the agency time keeping solution and ensuring data integrity and reporting of data within the system. Resolve problems, issues, and non-routine situations by recommending the best approach/action to take. Develop solution guidelines and changes based on agency policies, procedures, and best practices. Coordinate training and support as the application changes throughout the state.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Audit accuracy and integrity of all data entered in the Kronos system.
- Assure the provider keeps the system available within the required SLA.
- Serve as the primary Kronos system technical administrator represent the agency in audit and control reviews.
- Facilitate bulk data updates, exports, imports, clean-ups, and researches/reports on any discrepancies between time keeping and Peoplesoft HCM data.
- Update daily/weekly/monthly reports, handle requests ad hoc data requests, and work with dashboard team to maintain real-time reports and metrics.
- Accomplish routine analysis on of time keeping data relating to compensation, classification, employment, employee relations, and/or benefits data as directed.
- Prepare reports, graphs, charts and statistics in support of human resources operations.
- Provide assistance and support to employees as needed with use of the application
- Work with the training team to develop targeted training documents and videos teaching common issues with a focus on the end user experience.
- Assist with support requests relating to the time keeping system as needed
- Provide regular training to employees using the system state-wide.
- Work with the HR and IT teams on ERP and time keeping related projects as directed.
- Work with the IT support team to facilitate recovery of issues relating to time keeping application usability
- Work with the various teams within the agency to resolve problems relating to Kronos, data (internal and external), and integration with PeopleSoft HCM.
- Coordinate time keeping related activities with various individuals to gain completion of duties in a timely manner.
- Work with the agency policy team relating to use and implementation of agency, state, and federal policies.
- Act as primary contact for agency time keeping solution with Kronos partners, 3rd party vendors or other departments; respond to technical, administrative, and business questions relating to the Kronos time keeping solution.
- Participate in special projects with staff as directed.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Knowledge of human resource information systems (HRIS) in general.
- Knowledge of principles, practices and standards of human resource administration in assigned area.
- Ability to configure and troubleshoot Kronos InTouch terminals and Touch ID Plus biometrics.
- Understanding of SQL concepts and ability to craft SQL statements to extract data.
- Ability to extract data from the Kronos system in various formats.
- Ability to write reports for consumption of data from Kronos Workforce Central.
- Knowledge of basic application maintenance and control methodologies.
- Knowledge of how data being stored and structure for reports or queries
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, or related field from an accredited college or university, or 6 years of experience in application support specific to enterprise data
- Three years of experience in use of Kronos Workforce Central focused on both functional and technical levels.
- Three years’ experience in support of enterprise applications relating to HR
- Understanding of enterprise application management and support best practices
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in working with 3rd party providers providing time and attendance systems
- Experience with classic ERP systems like Workday
- Experience and understanding of Peoplesoft HCM and operational issues
