Schedule: Full Time Shift: Day's Location: Altamonte, Springs FL

The role you’ll contribute: Completes nutrition-focused physical assessments, takes measurements, reviews medical records, collects data via interviews, and evaluates anthropometric status.

• Evaluates assessment data to identify nutrition risks, nutrition problems, criteria consistent with malnutrition, knowledge deficits, and high-risk health behaviors.
• Offers nutrition interventions, orders, education, counseling, and referrals to other services.
• May place feeding tubes or perform indirect calorimetry studies. Provides counseling and education using evidence-based techniques that reflect appropriate health literacy and cultural sensitivity to patients with disease processes requiring nutritional management.
• Monitors and evaluates nutrition care plans to reach nutrition goals and promote optimal outcomes.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and have good comprehension of conversational English [Required]
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office [Required]

Education:

• Bachelor's [Required]
• Master's [Preferred]

Field of Study:

• Bachelor's degree in nutrition or nutrition related field

Work Experience:

• 10+ clinical experience [Required] •

Pay Range:

$28.97 - $53.88 Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)
