Join Morehead State University
Morehead State University is seeking an Associate Director, Talent Search 2, to join the Talent Search Programs team. The Anticipated start date is October, 16, 2026.

About the Position:
As the Associate Director, Talent Search 2 you will assist with the day-to-day implementation and supervision of all program services and activities for the Talent Search grants. The Associate Director interacts with target school personnel, school transportation offices, and department of education on behalf of the Talent Search Programs. The Talent Search Associate Director develops and coordinates training for all TRIO Academic Coordinators in coordination with the TS Director. 70% of the Associate Director’s job duties will include teaching participants and developing/designing academic curriculum that supports the participants individual academic progress towards postsecondary degree obtainment. Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s degree in education, guidance/counseling, social work, curriculum design/evaluation, or related field and three years’ experience as a counselor or teacher. Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential. Proven ability to provide services to high school and middle school age students and proven supervisory skills. Clear evidence of strong planning and organizational abilities, as well as analytical reasoning skills.
Applicants who do not meet the minimum qualifications will not be considered.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in working with economically and educationally disadvantaged secondary students and designing curriculum for those students is desired. Knowledge of computerized database software, admissions and financial aid process is desired.
