Full job description

Job Purpose

Dana’s Human Resources team is looking for enthusiastic Interns to join our corporate team, which is based out of the World Headquarters in Maumee, Ohio. The Intern will be provided with meaningful and exciting projects that will support our business initiatives and will have exposure to all levels of the global organization.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with transactions in myDana (HRIS) including onboarding of new hires, data changes, and offboarding.

  • Support onboarding process and preparing for new hire’s first day.

  • Assist with recruiting process including adding requisitions, maintaining job descriptions and reporting.

  • HR Reporting as needed.

  • Manage special projects as assigned

  • Assist the department in various initiatives

  • Complete other tasks as assigned

Education and Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability working in a team environment

  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines

  • Strong interpersonal skills to work with people at all levels within and outside the organization in a professional manner

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills

  • Uncompromising judgment towards confidentiality and business ethics

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Pursuing bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related degree, required

  • Minimum 3.0 GPA, required

  • Minimum 1-2 years of work experience required

  • Knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), preferred.
