14224BRJob Description:We’re seeking a dynamic and strategic Project Development Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of high-impact projects from concept to completion. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at cross-functional collaboration, and is passionate about driving innovation and growth.
Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Strategy

Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets

Align project goals with organizational objectives and stakeholder expectations

Stakeholder Management
-
Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
-
Facilitate clear communication and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle
-
Provide technical assistance to the operating and other staff functions
-
Execution & Oversight
-
Implementation and execution of the USS employee and contractor safety and environmental compliance programs.

Lead cross-functional teams to assure timely and successful project delivery
-
Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
-
Manage capital and cost projects, including identification of the business case, initial planning, developing scope, determining benefits and estimating cost.

Understand the front end loading (FEL) process to use for project development
-
Resource Allocation
-
Coordinate resources, assign tasks, and manage workloads effectively
-
Optimize team performance and ensure efficient use of assets
-
Reporting & Analysis
-
Track KPIs and provide regular updates to senior leadership
-
Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement
-
Flexibility and Adaptability
-
Support Operational Excellence and continuous improvement across operations

Act as champion of standard work process and drive standard work implementation

Perform other duties as required
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field
-
1+ years of experience in project development or management roles
-
Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget
-
Strong leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
-
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Sure Trak, Project Manager)
-
PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus
-
This is a safety sensitive position requiring drug and alcohol testing
The base salary of $71,009 to $106,514 is a good faith estimate. Based on candidate skills/experience the final offer may be lower/higher.
