As a Category Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in crafting and executing product/portfolio strategies for the categories assigned. This role is anchored in understanding customer needs and regional asset strategies to drive sales, market share, and profit margins for the designated products. You will be instrumental in developing tactical implementations of marketing plans, product positioning, and demand planning for both new product launches and existing offerings.

Your Responsibilities

  • Drive portfolio growth through market analysis, product strategy, pricing, and lifecycle management.

  • Lead product launches and cross-functional initiatives to bring innovative solutions to market.

  • Own portfolio sales, profitability, forecasting, demand planning, and inventory strategy.

  • Develop and execute marketing and commercial plans aligned with regional business objectives.

  • Represent customer and market needs in product development, business cases, and strategic decision-making.

  • Collaborate with local and regional stakeholders to maximize product performance and business results.

Location:

  • Bucharest, Romania

Qualifications And Attributes To Make a Difference

  • A minimum Bachelor's degree in Agriculture Engineering (with an additional master's degree in marketing being an advantage).

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the Agribusiness sector with a specialization in crop protection solutions, encompassing roles in product management, development, or commercial functions.

  • A robust understanding of the plant protection market, especially concerning the assigned product portfolio, along with a keen grasp of operational planning and product development processes.

  • A proven track record of creating, launching, and effectively managing brands.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

  • Fluency in English and Romanian.

  • Proficiency in market research with strong analytical skills, including economic analysis.
