Description
Are you passionate about technology and problem-solving? CoVantage Credit Union is seeking a Desktop Administrator to join our knowledgeable IS&T team. In this role, you will manage the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and support of the credit union's desktop infrastructure and related systems. You'll work closely with other IS&T teams to ensure desktop environments are secure, reliable, and optimized to support business operations while maintaining compliance with credit union policies and regulatory requirements.

Job Duties:

Manage and maintain the credit union's desktop infrastructure, ensuring systems are secure, reliable, and operating efficiently

Monitor desktop environments and review system logs to proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues

Administer Windows operating systems, including system optimization, version upgrades, security patching, and problem resolution.

Design, configure, document, and support physical computer deployments across the organization

Create and maintain Windows images and manage software deployment, upgrades, and package management using ManageEngine Endpoint Central

Collaborate with other IS&T teams to ensure desktop systems align with business needs and security standards

Assist with disaster recovery testing and support the credit union's business continuity efforts through participation in semi-annual Hot Site tests

Research, evaluate, and recommend new hardware, software, and technology solutions to improve efficiency and performance

Support and promote information security policies, procedures, and security awareness initiatives to ensure compliance with credit union, NCUA, and FFIEC requirements

Maintain documentation for desktop systems, configurations, processes, and procedures
Qualifications:
-
Associate’s Degree in networking, computer programming, or equivalent relevant work experience

Working experience administering Windows desktop operating systems

Knowledge of desktop computer and server operating systems.

Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work in direct, professional contact with a wide variety of people on a daily basis

Ability to work independently and accurately under pressure to meet business needs
