TS/SCI CI Poly Software Engineer

Job Description

A client of Insight Global is seeking a Software Engineer with an active TS/SCI Polygraph clearance to support multiple classified software development efforts across a variety of mission-critical programs. This individual will play a key role in developing, maintaining, and enhancing applications within Linux-based environments while contributing to projects that support national security objectives. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded software engineering generalist who enjoys working across different technologies, systems, and mission domains rather than focusing exclusively on a single niche area. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, support multiple programs simultaneously, and gain exposure to a broad range of technologies and mission systems. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining software applications, supporting modern web application development using technologies such as React, working with Docker and containerized environments, troubleshooting and enhancing existing solutions, and learning customer-specific processes and mission requirements. Engineers will be expected to contribute wherever needed, provide technical support across multiple efforts, and adapt quickly to evolving project priorities. The hiring manager is highly focused on candidates who demonstrate technical versatility, strong engineering fundamentals, and the ability to learn new technologies rapidly. Mission-specific knowledge can be taught, but candidates must bring a strong software engineering foundation and an active TS/SCI Polygraph clearance. This opportunity is open to junior, mid-level, and senior engineers, including recent graduates who possess the required clearance and strong technical aptitude.

Skills and Requirements

Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Software engineering background Experience developing applications in Linux environments Experience with React and/or modern web application development Familiarity with Docker or containerized development Ability to quickly learn new technologies, systems, and mission domains Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience) Full stack development experience Experience supporting DoD, Intelligence Community, or other classified programs Embedded software development experience Experience working across multiple technology stacks CI/CD, DevOps, or automation experience Cloud platform experience Prior experience working in a TS/SCI Poly environment Experience with multiple programming languages and broad technical versatility
