Summary
This position is located at NAF Support Services - Fort Hood, Texas. As the Commercial Sponsorship and Advertising Account Executive, you will secure vital business partnerships, leveraging your sales and networking expertise to directly support and enhance our MWR community programs and services. Potential cash incentives may be paid, for exceeding cash sales target.
Duties
- Provide client-need based account management to maximize client/agency results, build revenue growth and maintain a database of active accounts and revenue forecasts.
- Responsible for the development of all sales and advertising activities in the assigned market using customer-focused consultative selling process.
- Sells Army MWR media assets to clients by providing value through digital signage, web and traditional media channels. Develops proposals, meets and presents to clients.
- Maintains a database of active accounts and revenue forecasts. Works closely with clients and internal teams to develop integrated advertising programs, negotiating pricing and placement for sales campaigns.
- Ensures all terms of sponsorship and advertising are met, attends planning meetings and sponsored events for client engagement and brand representation.
Qualifications

A qualified candidate must possess the following: 1. Demonstrated work experience directly related to the duties to be performed, knowledge of commercial sponsorship practices and advertising theory. 2. Must be able to articulate with strong communication and presentation skills. 3. Organized and focused on priorities that move the sales process forward. 4. Creative thinker who can match marketers' goals with military audiences available on our media properties. 5. Ability to work independently and be a highly motivated-self starter. 6. A general knowledge of the military environment area is desirable. 7. Follow-up communication and time management skills required. 8. Ability to research, obtain and study information about clients' products, services, needs, challenges, advertising/sponsorship history, and business practices in order to provide effective sales presentations and appropriate assistance. 9. Manage and maintain sales automation processes. Highly Preferred Qualifications 1. 2+ years' documented personal annual sales record of $500K or more in cash revenue. 2. 2+ years experience in direct advertising and/or sponsorship sales. 3. 2+ years experience utilizing Microsoft 365 suite applications to develop and design a variety of business documents, including compelling proposals, solicitation materials, insightful reports, and presentation-ready dashboards for data visualization. 4. 2+ years experience in systematically tracking and documenting all customer interactions and outreach touch points to ensure a complete and accurate sales record, from lead inception to customer relationship management. 5. 2+ years experience in drafting, reviewing, and preparing advertising and sponsorship agreements. 6. Experience using sales type software such as DealMaker or Salesforce.com. This announcement is inclusive of established Highly Preferred criteria.
