KMPH is looking for an Evening Multi-Media Journalist to join our team in Central California. Join us and hone the skills you need to take your career where you want to go! We are looking for a candidate who thinks outside the box and elevates their storytelling with enhanced content on our digital and social platforms. Candidate must be willing to work weekends and fill-in as an anchor or producer as needed.
Skills and Experience:

Sharp news judgment

The ability to tell an NPPA style story

Excellent technical skills

The ability to work well independently

Strong writer with the ability to learn how to produce newscasts to work as a fill-in as needed.

Must have and maintain a valid license and a good driving record
Requirements and Qualifications:

A minimum of (2) years reporting experience is required

Experience with live shots is required
-
Experience with Live-U is a plus

The base salary compensation range for this role is $22.04 - $24.04 per hour. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates’ relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, sick leave, vacation time, personal time, parental leave, and employee stock purchase plan.
