JOB SUMMARY:
Move raw materials, supplies and finished goods manually, by hand truck or forklift to designated areas in the facility or onto trucks as necessary or defined by Materials Supervisor.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for physically receiving raw material, pulling wire samples, and providing documentation to receiving clerk in order to create a purchase order receiver (POR) per QSI 10.01 section 5.0.
Delivers and retrieves wire and equipment from the Heading floor and/or moves production parts to various operations.
Performs weighing of wire coils at headers, stocking and re-stocking of wire, ensuring that all materials have accurate weight and/or piece count.
Verifies that all product and materials have accurate and appropriate identification tags, documentation, and/or paperwork.
Prepares pallets, loads and unloads raw material wire onto and off delivery trucks.
Responsible for organizing and maintaining all wire carriers, including palletizing to prepare for return to Suppliers.
Performs record keeping, data entry, and housekeeping and follows all safety regulations and policy.
