JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE

Supports the engineering department by participating in the day to day activities of the group. Assignments are made for specific tasks based on the needs of the department, including data analysis, which include but aren’t limited to walk-downs, preparation of documents, engineering tasks, root cause analysis, and project development

*Currently looking for rising juniors and seniors majoring in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supports the Plant Lead Team and Operations Teams with day to day tasks.

  • Supports Project Development

  • Supports troubleshooting and root cause analysis

  • Conducts data analysis.

  • Prepares documents, spreadsheets, presentations, interoffice correspondence

  • Conducts follow-ups in a detailed fashion.

  • Handles multiple assignments and works within deadlines.

  • Is proactive in forwarding work issues to the appropriate managers/supervisors.

  • Works well in a team environment

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Minimum education required of the position

Pursing undergrad in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering. GPA of 2.8 or higher.

Minimum experience required of the position

Some work experience beneficial but not required

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position

General electrical, mechanical, or chemical engineering knowledge. Self-starter with strong analytical and communication skills; Must be proficient in MS office tools - Word, Excel and PowerPoint; Excellent organizational skills; Strong and positive team attitude and interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritize work and to handle multiple tasks; Ability to understand scope and objective of each assignment.
