The Growth Manager is responsible for identifying, developing, and scaling growth opportunities across Sage's installed customer base. This role sits at the intersection of Product, Sales, Customer Success, Partner, Marketing, Finance, and Commercial Operations, transforming customer insights and business opportunities into measurable revenue outcomes.
The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking, commercial acumen, analytics, and strong cross-functional leadership to build and execute programs that drive expansion ARR, improve retention, accelerate migrations, and increase customer lifetime value. Growth Managers own initiatives from concept through launch, serving as the single point of accountability for delivering business outcomes.
This role is hybrid, 3 days in office.
Revenue Growth Strategy & Execution
Drive expansion ARR through cross-sell, upsell, packaging, pricing, attach-rate, and customer value optimization initiatives.
Develop portfolio-level growth plans aligned to quarterly and annual revenue targets.
Identify and prioritize the highest-impact growth opportunities using customer, product, market, and partner insights.
Build business cases, financial models, and executive recommendations to support investment decisions.
Retention & Customer Value Optimization
Identify churn risks, competitive threats, and customer adoption challenges.
Design and launch retention-focused plays that improve stickiness, adoption, renewal rates, and customer lifetime value.
Partner with Customer Success and Sales leaders to activate at-risk customer cohorts and improve retention outcomes.
Growth Program Development
Lead initiatives through the full growth lifecycle: Discovery → Sizing → Solution → Pilot → Scale
Quantify opportunity size and expected business impact.
Design repeatable growth motions that can be scaled across segments, products, and partner channels.
Define success metrics and pilot validation criteria before broader rollout.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Align Product, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Finance, RevOps, and Partner teams around a common objective and revenue goal.
Influence stakeholders without direct authority to drive execution and remove barriers.
Establish governance processes, operating cadences, and communication mechanisms to ensure progress and accountability.
GTM Enablement & Operational Excellence
Equip Sales, Customer Success, and Partners with playbooks, messaging, pricing guidance, and enablement materials.
Drive disciplined execution across multiple workstreams while managing dependencies, risks, and stakeholder expectations.
Maintain strong governance through RAID management, milestone tracking, and executive reporting.
Analytics & Business Insights
Analyze customer, revenue, adoption, and market data to identify growth opportunities.
Translate complex data into actionable recommendations and clear business decisions.
Monitor program performance and continuously optimize initiatives based on results
Required Experience & Skills

5+ years of experience in Growth, Go-to-Market Strategy, Product Marketing, Commercial Strategy, Customer Success, Consulting, Business Operations, or a related field.

Strong commercial and financial acumen with experience building business cases and forecasting business impact.

Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives and influence senior stakeholders.

Strong analytical skills and ability to extract insights from large datasets.

Experience working within SaaS, ERP, software, technology, or subscription-based businesses.

Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.

Demonstrated ability to move from strategy to execution while maintaining attention to detail.
