Full job description

This is a hybrid role. Upon agreement between you and your supervisor, you are entitled to a flexible arrangement where you will be able to split your time between working from the office and working remotely. Your responsibilities:

  • Preparation and analysis of HR KPIs, personnel reports, and workforce statistics

  • Creation of financial simulations and forecasting models in close cooperation with the Controlling department

  • Preparation and coordination of budget planning with business departments

  • Analysis and explanation of budget variances related to personnel costs

  • Workforce efficiency planning and analysis

  • Calculation of annual HR-related provisions/accruals

  • Providing HR controlling metrics and steering parameters

  • Supporting relevant departments in calculating options for collective bargaining negotiations and preparing decision-making materials

  • Supporting relevant departments in monitoring salary bands and employee classification within compensation structures

  • Supporting relevant departments in the calculation of variable compensation components

  • Acting as a backup for other team members, including HR Controllers supporting other entities

  • Participating in project work related to HR controlling topics

  • Managing and maintaining HR-related data

Our requirements:

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in Controlling

  • Strong expertise in Controlling and Financial Accounting (required)

  • Knowledge of Payroll and Personnel Cost Planning is considered an advantage

  • Understanding of the interaction between Compensation & Benefits, HR, Payroll, and Finance/Controlling (FiCo)

  • Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel (formulas, analysis, and automation)

  • Experience with Power Pivot and Power Query is an advantage

  • Good practical knowledge of controlling and HR systems/tools

  • German language proficiency at C1 level and English at B2 level

  • Ability to work independently with a solution-oriented and customer-focused mindset

  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and excellent numerical skills with a focus on accuracy and data quality.
