About the Role:

Working a Monday through Friday day shift schedule, you'll be responsible for supporting the performance, reliability, and efficiency of HVAC and mechanical equipment while helping create a safe and comfortable environment for building occupants. What You'll Do:

Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) and corrective repairs on commercial HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and efficiency.

Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot chillers, compressors, and associated cooling system components.

Monitor and service exhaust fans, air distribution systems, and air handling equipment to maintain proper airflow and environmental conditions.

Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using testing equipment and established maintenance procedures.

Perform routine inspections, adjustments, and repairs on HVAC equipment to minimize downtime and extend asset life.

Install, repair, adjust, service and maintain electric or pneumatic control systems used for building heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems and equipment, including calibration of related instruments, gauges, and control components.

Inspect and conduct ongoing maintenance on building HVAC equipment to ensure proper operation of equipment and compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and work safety.

Troubleshoot equipment failures and identify the best course of action for equipment modifications.

Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.

Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
What You'll Need:
-
High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

EPA Certification required.

Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs, and the ability to carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.

Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.

Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.

In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.

Sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
