Why This Role Matters

As our Continuous Improvement & Quality Manager, you'll champion quality, food safety, Lean manufacturing, and operational excellence initiatives that directly impact safety, quality, delivery, cost, and employee engagement. You'll partner across Operations, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Sales, and Customer Service to help our facility perform at its best every day

What You'll Own Quality & Food Safety Excellence

  • Lead all quality assurance, quality control, and food safety programs

  • Drive compliance with customer requirements, GMPs, regulatory standards, and quality systems

  • Lead audits, CAPA processes, customer complaint investigations, and corrective actions

  • Analyze trends, eliminate recurring issues, and elevate customer satisfaction

  • Build strong relationships with customers and suppliers as a trusted quality leader

Continuous Improvement Leadership

  • Lead Lean Manufacturing and Operational Excellence initiatives

  • Facilitate Kaizen Events, Value Stream Mapping, and Rapid Improvement Workshops

  • Deploy tools such as DMAIC, A3, Fishbone Analysis, 5 Whys, SPC, and FMEA

  • Deliver measurable productivity improvements and sustainable cost savings

  • Create a culture where employees actively participate in problem-solving and process improvement

People & Leadership Development

  • Coach, mentor, and develop future leaders

  • Train teams on Lean principles, quality systems, food safety, and problem-solving methodologies

  • Build accountability, engagement, and a mindset of continuous growth

  • Inspires teams to embrace change and achieve results

  • Completed a bachelor's degree in engineering, Industrial Technology, Quality Management, Operations Management, Manufacturing, or related field preferred, or equivalent leadership experience

  • Has 3+ years leading Quality, Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, or Manufacturing teams

  • Holds a strong knowledge of ISO 9001, GMP, GFSI, and audit processes

  • Experienced in flexible packaging, food packaging, or consumer products manufacturing preferred

  • Has a six Sigma Black Belt, SQF Practitioner, HACCP, or ASQ Quality certifications are a strong plus

  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and project management skill
