Organization: CPMC-California Pacific Med Center Position Overview: Responsible for directing entity(ies’) fundraising program, with special emphasis on individual donor cultivation and solicitation, leading campaign strategy, and managing all aspects of the program in a manner aligned with the goals of Sutter Health. Serves as the administrative liaison to senior management, medical staff, and Sutter Health leadership, to ensure the smooth and integrated operation of the organizations, and the appropriate alignment of operational strategies with the overall mission and available resources. Externally, represents Sutter Health in the community through various activities, ensuring that the mission and the programs of the entity are accurately understood and conducted. Serves as a catalyst for community collaboration by developing the entity as a resource for the community in improving the health of its residents. Where this job exists at a large entity, as defined as: Bay Foundation, Valley Foundation, CPMC, ABSMC, SMCS, and OU roles, and reports to an Executive-Path leader, the title will be Executive. TYPICAL EXPERIENCE: 12 years of recent relevant experience.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Exemplary leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and mentor individuals in a changing environment while increasing performance

  • Comprehensive knowledge of all fundraising approaches, with special expertise and understanding of capital campaigns, principal and major gifts, and planned giving.

  • Well-developed problem-solving and analytical skills, with an ability to devise creative solutions to complex problems and issues

  • Demonstrated ability to maintain positive, collaborative, productive relationships with diverse key stakeholders across the organization

  • Strong and persuasive interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and appropriately

  • Energized and enthusiastic leader with strong intellect and creativity

  • Excellent verbal and written communication with both internal and external constituents, including public speaking skilsl at delivering compelling and persuasive arguments.

  • Ability to build trust through leadership and decision- making

  • Well -organized and successful at judging multiple priorities

  • Foresees roadblocks and prepares creative alternatives

Pay Range is $187,886.40 to $300,622.40 / annual salary The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health’s comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
