NPI Program Manager

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Software NPI Program Manager to support HP's software organization in Vancouver, WA. This individual will be responsible for coordinating the successful, on-time delivery of software and software solutions supporting upcoming New Product Introductions (NPIs) within HP's print organization.

This is a highly cross-functional role that sits between Software/R&D, Design, Marketing, and other organizations to ensure software features and solutions move successfully from requirements and technical planning through development, quality validation, release, and delivery.

The ideal candidate has experience managing commercial software development programs, understands the software development lifecycle, and is comfortable driving complex initiatives across multiple technical and business teams.

Skills and Requirements

• 4-6+ years of relevant program/project management experience, ideally within software product development.

• Experience managing commercial software products or software development programs from initiation through release.

• Strong understanding of Agile software development practices and the SDLC.

• Proven experience managing cross-functional and cross-organizational technical programs.

• Experience driving and managing release scope, schedule, quality, risks, and dependencies.

• Hands-on experience defining, tracking, and reporting engineering/program metrics and KPIs.

• Experience working with software release processes and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving experience within complex or large-scale systems.

• Ability to communicate program status and technical information across engineering teams and management.

• Previous New Product Introduction (NPI) experience.

• Experience coordinating software delivery alongside a hardware/product launch.

• Background supporting printing, imaging, devices, embedded systems, or hardware-adjacent software.

• Experience working directly with Software

• Engineering/R&D organizations.

• Experience defining or contributing to technical approaches, architecture, and software quality plans.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical or business discipline.
