What's the Role

LifeMine is seeking a Senior Director, Program Management to lead cross-functional project management across our research, preclinical, and clinical-stage drug development programs. This role owns program management for our lead asset and relevant follow-on assets driving timely, successful execution of our global development and commercialization strategy across functions, while identifying and evaluating opportunities to accelerate the program and manage risk. Beyond driving execution across today's programs, you will lead the development of program management capabilities, processes, and talent as LifeMine's pipeline and organization grow.

What You'll Do

  • Provide operational and strategic project management leadership to the cross-functional teams developing and commercializing the lead asset LIFE-001, and relevant follow-on assets.

  • Ensure integrated program plans including progress, timelines, opportunities, risks, and mitigation plans are clearly and regularly communicated across functions and with senior leaders.

  • Identify barriers affecting strategic imperatives or achievement of goals and milestones and help cross-functional teams develop solutions to overcome these barriers.

  • Propose innovative approaches, define process improvements, and advise leaders on opportunities to enhance the successful commercialization of LIFE-001 and relevant follow-on assets.

  • Help teams identify the best approach to resolve issues and make cross-functional decisions.

  • Hire, develop, and manage talent to build drug development project management capabilities as the company grows.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences or a directly relevant field; a graduate degree in life sciences, pharmacy, or business administration is preferred.

  • 12+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ years of management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Broad and comprehensive understanding of project and portfolio management principles, business analysis, critical thinking, strategic planning, and budget management.

  • Proven cross-functional team leadership experience with a track record of achieving results.

  • Pharmaceutical drug discovery and development expertise across multiple functions.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills.

  • Strong collaboration skills to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

  • Ability to organize work and manage multiple competing priorities.
