I’m reaching out regarding a Contract Recruiter opportunity with a nonprofit/public-sector organization in Central Los Angeles. We’re looking for someone with solid full-cycle recruiting experience who has worked within a nonprofit, public-sector, healthcare, credentialing, or similarly regulated environment.

This is an onsite temporary assignment through the end of the year, with the potential for significant recruiting volume. There could be 20+ open positions requiring recruiting support, so we’re looking for someone who is comfortable managing multiple requisitions and working closely with hiring teams.

The exact distribution of responsibilities is still being finalized, but the recruiter will likely take ownership of a designated group of openings while also assisting with recruiting efforts for positions in Arizona. The Arizona locations have had some process compliance challenges, so this person will partner closely with the hiring team while the Recruitment Lead maintains overall oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for an assigned group of positions

• Source, screen, and qualify candidates across multiple departments

• Coordinate interviews and provide regular pipeline updates

• Partner closely with hiring managers and internal stakeholders

• Maintain accurate ATS records and ensure recruiting process compliance

• Support recruiting efforts for Arizona-based positions as needed

• Assist with high-volume hiring priorities and workforce planning

• Maintain strong candidate engagement and a positive applicant experience

Requirements • Experience supporting administrative, program coordination, recruiting, or operations functions in a detail-focused environment.

• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint for tracking data, communication, and document preparation.

• Ability to perform accurate data entry and maintain organized records with a high level of attention to detail.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills, including email correspondence, appointment scheduling, and inbound or outbound call support.

• Customer service skills with the ability to interact with staff, clients, candidates, and external partners.

• Comfort handling confidential information with discretion.
