Full job description

We're looking for a Staff Mobile Engineer with strong React Native expertise to lead the design and development of scalable, high-quality mobile experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the architecture and technical direction of mobile applications.
  • Build and ship scalable, reliable mobile features using React Native.
  • Drive engineering best practices around performance, testing, code quality, and observability.
  • Solve complex technical problems across mobile and backend systems.
  • Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams.
  • Mentor engineers and raise the overall technical bar.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of software engineering experience with strong mobile development expertise.
  • 4+ years of hands-on React Native experience.
  • Strong understanding of mobile architecture, performance, debugging, and app lifecycle.
  • Experience building and scaling production-grade mobile applications.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Solid understanding of native iOS/Android concepts.
  • Strong problem-solving and system design skills.
  • Experience owning projects end-to-end and working in a fast-paced product environment.

Good to Have:

  • Experience with native development in Swift/Objective-C or Kotlin/Java.
  • Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring, and release management.
  • Experience mentoring engineers and driving technical initiatives.
