Accounting Manager (AP/AR Focus)

Schedule: In-office | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM

Flexibility: Work-from-home flexibility for sick child, weather, or similar situations

Position Overview

• Reporting directly to the Corporate Controller

• Manage the day-to-day accounting operations team, with a strong focus on AP/AR oversight

• Lead a team of 4 across Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

• Play a hands-on role in AR escalations, collections support, billing questions, and transactional accounting operations

• Assist with payroll journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close support

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily AP and AR operations

• Manage and support a team of 4 accounting operations staff

• Handle AR escalations, including remittance issues and customer billing questions

• Review account activity and ensure timely, accurate payment posting and invoicing

• Assist the Controller with journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close

• Help improve accounting processes and department efficiency

Requirements

• Prior experience managing or supervising accounting operations, with direct involvement in accounts receivable and broader general accounting functions.

• Strong knowledge of general ledger activity, reconciliations, month-end close, and core accounting controls.

• Demonstrated ability to lead teams responsible for receivables, payables, and collections in a fast-paced business environment.
