Full job description
The Adult Unit is specially designed for the treatment of adults 18 and older who are experiencing a variety of mental health diagnoses. Our team provides crisis stabilization services with a goal of moving patients to a less-intensive level of care as soon as is safe to do so.
As an Occupational Therapist, you will:

Perform a full range of occupational therapy services according to professional standards.

Screen patients, provide functional assessments, develop goals and modalities for treatment plans, and provide direct services for individuals and groups for assigned caseload.

Document and report patient progress to treatment team and assists in training, orienting, and evaluating the performance of occupational therapy interns and volunteers.
Requires:

Current knowledge of occupational therapy theory and practice in the field of psychosocial dysfunction obtained through academic and clinical internship requirements of a Master's degree in occupational therapy.

Must possess current license to practice as an occupational therapist in the State of Maryland at the time of appointment and continuously during tenure in position.
