Full job description

The Adult Unit is specially designed for the treatment of adults 18 and older who are experiencing a variety of mental health diagnoses. Our team provides crisis stabilization services with a goal of moving patients to a less-intensive level of care as soon as is safe to do so.

As an Occupational Therapist, you will:

  • Perform a full range of occupational therapy services according to professional standards.

  • Screen patients, provide functional assessments, develop goals and modalities for treatment plans, and provide direct services for individuals and groups for assigned caseload.

  • Document and report patient progress to treatment team and assists in training, orienting, and evaluating the performance of occupational therapy interns and volunteers.

Requires:

  • Current knowledge of occupational therapy theory and practice in the field of psychosocial dysfunction obtained through academic and clinical internship requirements of a Master's degree in occupational therapy.

  • Must possess current license to practice as an occupational therapist in the State of Maryland at the time of appointment and continuously during tenure in position.
