ServiceNow CMDB Architect

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a senior-level ServiceNow CMDB Manager to lead the design, governance, administration, and ongoing optimization of the CMDB environment. This individual will own CMDB architecture, Discovery, data quality, governance, integrations, and stakeholder alignment while ensuring CMDB data supports key ITSM processes across the organization.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Own CMDB architecture, data model, CI classes, and relationship structures Manage ServiceNow Discovery and CMDB population processes Ensure data quality through reconciliation, governance, and certification processes Lead CMDB audits and health reviews Manage MID Servers and ServiceNow platform configurations related to CMDB Partner with Change, Incident, Service Desk, and Operations teams Support impact analysis and dependency mapping efforts Create dashboards, metrics, and executive-level reporting Provide CMDB training and guidance to stakeholders across IT

Skills and Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field 8+ years leading ServiceNow architecture engagements Strong ServiceNow CMDB expertise Experience with CSDM (Common Service Data Model) Experience managing ServiceNow Discovery, MID Servers, and Service Graph Connectors Deep knowledge of ITSM processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management) Experience building and maintaining CMDB governance programs Experience creating executive reporting and CMDB health dashboards At least one full ServiceNow implementation as a Lead Architect ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CIS-CMDB, CTA, CMA)
