Job Title: Mechanical Test Engineer
Location: Tulsa, OK
Type: Direct Hire
Compensation: $72,000.00 - $100,000.00
Work Model: Onsite
Hours: 40.0
We are seeking a Mechanical Test Engineer to develop and execute test plans for complex machinery and equipment. This role is responsible for verifying mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and control systems through laboratory and field testing while working closely with design and product development teams.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop test plans, procedures, and work instructions from product specifications.

Set up and operate test equipment, instrumentation, data acquisition systems, and test fixtures.

Conduct mechanical, environmental, durability, and performance testing.

Analyze test data, document results, and present findings to engineering teams.

Design and build test fixtures and validate test methods.

Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and purchasing teams to resolve issues and improve product performance.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Agricultural, or related Engineering field.
-
3+ years of testing, validation, or product development experience.
-
Knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, controls, electrical systems, and data acquisition.
-
Experience with LabVIEW, Catman, Somat, or similar DAQ systems preferred.

Ability to read engineering drawings and CAD models; SolidWorks experience is a plus.

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Industries: Heavy equipment, agricultural equipment, off-highway vehicles, industrial machinery, manufacturing, or product development environments.
