Job Summary Responsible for providing high-quality critical care, including assessment, triage, and treatment utilizing standards and guidelines established by Grady Health System Medical Director(s). You’ll assess the nature and extent of illness or injury to establish and prioritize the care needed for the safe transport of the critical patient to the appropriate facility and are responsible for carrying out the mission and goals assuring that safety remains the highest priority throughout the transport continuum.

Qualifications

  • Associate Degree in Nursing required. Bachelors degree preferred.

  • Registered Nurse with at least 3 years critical care experience/ED required. Pre-hospital experience and flight experience preferred.

  • Georgia Registered Nurse Licensure required.

  • Advanced Trauma Certification, Neonatal Resuscitation Provider, CAMTS Standards required.

  • Excellent Communication Skills and Customer Service Skills

  • Certifications in BLS/CPR; ACLS; PALS or equivalent TNCC, or TNAT (BLS, ACLS and PALS must be provided by AHA or ARC) required.

  • NRP Advanced provided by the American Academy of Pediatrics if program provides high risk OB and/or neonatal transports required

  • Current Georgia nursing certification, Advanced certification as a CFRN or CTRN within 2 years of hire required.

  • Must complete annual competency tests.
