Full job description

This is a full-time, benefitted position (80 hours per pay period) located at Scripps Clinic Torrey Pines, working an 8-hour day shift Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. No weekends or evenings are required.

As a Licensed Vocational Nurse, you will:

  • Perform patient assessments and care tasks, including emergency procedures and medication administration as appropriate.

  • Educate patients and families and document patient interactions.

  • Practice infection control and contribute to the team as necessary to ensure quality patient care within own scope of practice.

Required Qualifications:

  • Current California LVN license

  • American Heart Association BLS for Health Care Provider

  • Must be able to speak, read, write, and follow instructions in English.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One year of outpatient experience as LVN or LPN

  • Experience in an outpatient setting
