Responsibilities Provide expert planning, design, oversight, coordination, implementation, advice and consultation regarding agency efforts led by Portfolio and Risk Management. Assesses and provides strategic direction regarding the development of system portfolio and risk management policies and procedures. Coordinates with multiple levels of management in the modification of existing and/or new financial management systems and the management of financial programs. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade (GS-13) within the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required. Specialized experience is defined as: Technical advisor on the planning, implementation, evaluation and/or maintenance of finance or accounting system portfolio; researching and interpreting financial management or accounting regulations, principles, policies and procedures; planning and coordinating projects pertaining to financial management. You may qualify for consideration if meeting specialized experience, education requirement, 90 days after competitive appointment requirement, and all other qualification requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of the announcement, unless otherwise indicated on the announcement. ???????The Security Designation will vary and dependent upon position and may require a secret clearance or higher.
