Responsibilities

  • Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under OT supervision.

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living and functional tasks.

  • Guide therapeutic exercises and activities to improve independence.

  • Observe and report patient progress to the Occupational Therapist.

  • Complete timely and accurate documentation.

  • Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques and equipment.

  • Support interdisciplinary care planning and treatment goals.

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Associate degree from an accredited OTA program.

  • Current Occupational Therapy Assistant license in the state of practice.

  • New graduates welcome to apply.

  • Experience in rehabilitation or post-acute care preferred.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Foreign-trained applicants must possess credentials deemed substantially equivalent by the applicable credentialing organization.
