Standard Job Description

You will be the Quality Engineer for the Quality Engineering Team. Our team is responsible for ensuring product and process quality across the product lifecycle.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Quality Engineer you will be responsible for applying quality principles and driving continuous improvement across design, production, and supplier activities.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Apply quality principles across design, incoming material, production control, and supplier processes.

Conduct technical evaluations, inspections, and statistical analysis of products and materials.

Lead failure investigations, material review board decisions, and corrective/preventive actions.

Collaborate with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and customers to ensure quality standards.

Develop and maintain supplier certification programs and improve internal performance.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim Secret clearance is required to start.

Basic Qualifications

STEM Degree at a Bachelor level or above or equivalent experience/combined education

-Must be able to obtain a secret clearance

-Ability to interpret drawings an specifications for development of quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for inspect of manufactured products (machined components and assemblies)

-Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance

-Demonstrated ability to use casual analysis tools to analyze and resolve technical/process issues

-Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office application

Desired Skills

-CMM programming experience

-Experience with automated processes and robotic technologies

-Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification

-Special Process Engineering experience

-SAP Application experience

-Experience with use of inspection gages and measuring equipment

-Experience with material review board requirements, evaluating risk and impact to overall system requirements

-Demonstrated understanding of audit techniques

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $70500.00 - $130900.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
