Full job description

Salary Range: $74,090 USD to $111,155 USD

Description

Essential Functions

  • Identify, develop, and establish systems to enable company-wide compliance with all applicable regulations both voluntary and compulsory. Interfaces with regulatory and public sector agencies as appropriate (e.g., CFR, MDR, MDD, OSHA, ISO).

  • Develop a culture of high performance and employee engagement by inspiring, developing, and motivating internal talent. Facilitate good discussions with employees in order to understand their professional goals and aspirations. Create an environment of open communication that fosters upward feedback and suggestions. Make well informed decisions, demonstrate initiative, exhibit autonomy and execute on organization initiatives.

  • Coordinates and manage resolution of environmental health and safety incidents using advanced methodologies as defined by company policy and established practices.

  • Leads the development and implementation of corporate safety strategy across all companies and locations. Ensures accurate and timely record keeping and document management. Leads the development, review and implementation of site emergency programs.

  • Oversees the implementation, supports and guides safety committees. Conducts regular reviews with site leadership and prioritizes issues. Participates in industry and professional interest groups to stay current on best practices.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education

Preferred

  • Associates or better

Experience

Required

  • 8-12 years: 8-12 years’ experience in a technical or managerial field
