Service Technician/Small Engine Mechanic

Our Service Department in Rogers, MN is seeking a dedicated mechanic to join our team! This role is responsible for performing diagnostics, service, and repairs on ag and turf equipment. This role works on a variety of equipment including tractors, mowers, compact utility equipment, chainsaws, push mowers and other small engines.

Starting pay range is $25-$30/ hour plus commission eligibility on labor performance.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on equipment

• Perform repairs, preventative maintenance, scheduled maintenance, inspections, and warranty work on a variety of equipment

• Use diagnostic tools and service software to troubleshoot problems

• Conduct equipment inspections and testing to ensure proper operation

• Complete work orders, service reports, and documentation accurately

• Communicate service findings and recommendations to service support and customers

• Maintain mobile service vehicle inventory, tools, and cleanliness

• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Qualifications

• Must have adequate personal set of tools to perform work responsibilities

• Minimum 1 year proven mechanical experience with agricultural or turf equipment repair

• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools

• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in a shop environment

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

• Knowledge of safety standards related to machinery repair
