Hourly Pay Range: $27.00-$28.92
Shift: Temporary Position. Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:00pm
As a member of the management team, provide oversight and leadership to the program. Collaborate with and provide direction and supervision to assigned program staff to ensure quality supports and services are provided to the people we serve in accordance with our Agency Mission. Supports the mission of the department, which is committed to providing a continuum of services and providing opportunities to make choices, develop and achieve their full potential.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Directs and coordinates provision of services and integrated, active programming under direction consistent with all applicable regulations and in conjunction with other agency operations and objectives including strategic planning and implementation of programmatic goals.

Promotes an environment in which people’s rights are upheld.

Ensures each person has an appropriately developed program plan that is reflective of their needs. Maintains commitment to provide services that are responsive to the changing needs as defined by our service participants.

Responsible for appropriate staffing activities including the selection, supervision and retention of staff to meet people’s needs and service requirements.

Utilizes and manages available human resources in an effective manner including recommendations regarding staffing patterns, placements and other assignments to ensure appropriate program coverage and service needs.

Responsible for the training and on-going development of staff to ensure and improve quality of care and services. Elicits and provides opportunities for staff input and employee involvement in and supportive corrective action as required.

Responsible for ensuring all necessary resources are available and provided to staff to ensure their successful completion of duties.

Keeps staff informed and trained on policies and procedures in a timely and clear manner.

Assumes leadership role in new project assignment that support Agency strategic plans.

Participates or chairs agency committees, meetings, and training as required.

Identifies and takes the necessary action to improve quality in all areas of responsibility and effect change in a timely manner.

Ensures compliance to applicable Federal/State/Local and other governing entities’ rules, regulations and law.

Responsible for attending Life Plan meetings and development of person-centered plans, ensuring daily documentation and implementation of person-centered goals.
-
Assists with the coordination and intake process to ensure program requirements are met for each new person entering the program.

Ensures efficient, confidential and comprehensive record keeping as mandated for participant and staff related activities/incidents.

Responsible for coordinating and running group activities, including direct participation, transportation and support as needed.

Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:

Associate’s degree and 3 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Two years’ supervisory experience or completion of agency management training.
-
Valid Driver’s License that meets agency policy.
-
Ability to effectively respond to common inquiries or complaints from individuals, staff, regulatory agencies or members of the community.
-
Ability to meet physical requirements of the position when performing the following: standing, walking, sitting, bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling and climbing.
-
Ability to be on “On Call” to support participants after hours.
-
Ability to transport participants in personal vehicle.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the supervision and development of direct reports.
