How you’ll make an impact in this role

  • Supervise case management and clerical staff, managing daily schedules, workload distribution, and resource contracting to ensure efficient patient care.

  • Communicate with administration and medical staff regarding admission appropriateness, length of stay, discharge planning, and complex case issues.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on utilization criteria, appeals, reviews, and case management system documentation.

  • Cover units directly as needed while overseeing post-acute tracking, disease management programs, and daily operational priorities.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Case Manager credentialed from the American Case Management Association (ACMA) preferred.

  • Case Manager credentialed from the Commission for Case Manager Certification (CCMC) preferred.

  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing preferred.

  • Social Worker credentialed from the Florida Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy and Mental Health Counseling preferred.

Education:

  • High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.

Work Experience:

  • 3 years of experience required.

  • 1 year of leadership or management experience required.

What additional preferences we're seeking

  • at least one year of leadership

  • RN licensure or MSW;LCSW preferred

  • prior case management experience
