Desktop Support Technician

Location: Austin, TX (100% Onsite)

Required Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience with desktop support, hardware deployments, or computer refresh projects

• Recent experience imaging computers, replacing devices, and migrating user data

• Experience troubleshooting Windows-based systems, hardware, and peripherals

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Ability to lift and move up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Support a Windows 11 device refresh project

• Image, configure, and deploy computers and docking stations

• Replace existing devices and migrate user data

• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and peripheral issues

• Provide technical support to end users during deployments

• Document completed work and maintain service records

• Assist with hardware and software installations, upgrades, and testing

• Follow established security and technology procedures

• Fully onsite in Austin, TX

• Team-based deployment project

• Hands-on technical support role

• Opportunity to support a large-scale Windows 11 migration initiative

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Austin, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
