As a Dental Hygiene Faculty member, you will combine your clinical knowledge with student-centered teaching to help students build the technical skills, professional judgment, confidence, and compassion needed for successful careers. Minimum Qualifications:

 Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from a program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA),ora professional degree in dentistry (DDS or DMD).

 Current, unencumbered Idaho dental hygiene or dentist license, or eligibility for Idaho licensure.

 Certification in local anesthesia and nitrous oxide administration.

 Three or more years of recent clinical dental hygiene or dental practice experience.

 Current CPR/BLS certification.

 Strong communication, organization, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

 A genuine interest in teaching, mentoring, and helping students succeed.
