What you can expect:
We are a busy, fast paced 31 bed PACU that recoveries patients that have had general anesthesia from the main OR, CVOR, EP lab, cath lab, endoscopy, medical imaging, and interventional radiology. 30% of our patient population is children (infants to adolescents), while the rest is adults. Generally, we staff one nurse to two patients based on acuity and age and are considered a critical care unit.
Position FTE: 1.0 FTE (80 hours per pay period) Members of the innovative night call team have a 1.0 FTE and are scheduled or on-call for 7 nights and then have 7 nights off (including holidays), and are paid 80 hours a pay period. This schedule rotates every pay period. Team members have 26 weeks off each year.
Job Description Qualifications

Education: Nursing Degree (ADN or BSN)

Experience: 1 year's RN experience is required. PACU RN experience within St. Luke's or former St. Luke's PACU experience would also be considered for this innovative role.

Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice

BLS required- Preferred ACLS and PALS
