Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $17.96 - $17.96 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Host / Hostess:

• Effectively communicating with patients, staff and guests of the hospital to ensure accuracy and timelines of patient meal trays and floor stock

• Delivering meal carts to patient units, aiding in the meal set-up at bedside, discarding of soiled trays, taking inventory of nourishment area, stocking the nourishment area and accurately operating technical equipment

• Sanitation activities, including dishware, equipment cleaning and janitorial tasks

• Cashiering in the cafeteria

Job requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady

• Have a professional, clean appearance with a straight posture

• Employees are responsible for arriving in black shirts, pants and shoes (no logos)

• Be physically able to stand up for long hours

• Understand customer service and hospitality

• Work well with others

• Pay attention to the details

• Working fast and efficiently under pressure

• Have a welcoming and friendly attitude (smile and proper greetings)

• Know when to get the help of a supervisor

• Possess the ability to learn a point-of-sale system and retain the information

• Availability for the whole city duration

• Background Check and Drug test required
