Job Description About the role

This Powerbuilder/.Net developer position will serve as backup support on the Banking application. The individual in this position will assist with translating formal requirements documentation into database and program solutions. Ideal candidates will be able to work independently and as a team. The ability to adapt to change and communicate effectively with customers and coworkers is essential. Comply with all system development policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines, including coding standards and reviews. Fully document work performed and provide technology turnover on all work performed to other SCC staff.

Responsibilities include:

  • Performs complex system administration, maintenance and support for production systems.

  • Develops and maintains technical documentation. The individual will be primarily supporting the FIIS application which is written in PowerBuilder. They also will provide to support to other applications that are written in .Net.

  • Performing system administration, maintenance, and support responding to system alerts and user events; making recommendations; and documenting findings.

  • Designing, developing, modifying, testing, debugging, and implementing programs and systems.

  • Developing and maintaining standard operating procedures and technical documentation.

  • Performing related work as required.
