  • Knowledge of intercollegiate rules and regulations.

  • Prior work experience in intercollegiate or professional football operations.

  • Knowledge of general university policies and procedures.

  • Skill in oral communication and public relations.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including Word and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors’ degree with additional consideration for Masters.

Job Description

The Coordinator of Team Operations assists the head coach in the organization, management and administration of strategies as they relate to the goals and objectives of the football program.

Job Duties

Position duties include:

  • Prepare and manage financial aspects of the football program, including, but not limited to budget, travel, operations, and fundraising in consultation with Head Coach.

  • Serve as the main liaison with the department of athletics external operations, internal operations, NCAA compliance and business offices.

  • Monitor academic progress of football student-athletes, assist in the development and implementation of public relations, marketing and fundraising initiatives for the program and the athletic department.

  • Comply with applicable NCAA , Conference and Texas State University rules and regulations.

  • Other duties as assigned by the Head Football Coach.
