Job Summary Summary<br>Provides leadership to multiple related teams and/or an entity-wide function of Advanced Practice Providers.<br><br>Does this position require Patient Care?<br>Yes<br><br>

Essential Functions<br>-Provides leadership and clinical direction of multiple related teams and/or entity-wide functions of SRNAs. <br>

-Active in entity-wide strategic planning efforts and major initiatives as they relate to SRNAs. <br>

-Develops operational and strategic plans for departments as it pertains to SRNA clinical scheduling<br>

-Ensures CRNA providers are aware of and compliant with departmental, hospital, and medical staff policies. <br> -Oversees staffing and scheduling of CRNAs. <br> -Monitors patient experience and patient flow. <br> -Leads continuing education plans for CRNAs. <br> -Develops, evaluates, and manages quality and safety outcomes in collaboration with hospital and enterprise quality and safety standards. <br> -Serves as the strategic hub of effective & transparent communication between the CRNAs and other medical staff. <br>

Qualifications

Education Master's Degree Nurse Anesthesia Practitioner required or Doctorate Nurse Anesthesia Practitioner preferred

Licenses and Credentials Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist [CRNA (NBCRNA)] - National Board of Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) required Registered Nurse [RN - State License] - Generic - HR Only required Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support [ACLS] - Generic - HR Only required Basic Life Support [BLS] - Generic - HR Only required

Experience Nurse anesthesiology Experience 3+ years preferred and Clinical leadership experience at least 1year preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Broad knowledge of modern health care administration practices and principles within a managed care environment, including nurse anesthetist standards and guidelines.
  • Demonstrated effective managerial and administrative leadership of clinical operations.
  • Effective analytical ability in order to develop and analyze options, recommend solutions to, and solve complex problems and issues.
  • Ability to work with all levels of staff (executive, front-line, trustees, and physicians) and function effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to exercise initiative, problem-solving, and decision-making in emergency situations.
  • Ability to maintain patience and composure in difficult situations.
