Job Duties

As our Safety & Environment Manager, will successfully lead and continuously improve environmental, health, and safety performance by serving as the primary safety representative and key liaison between the business unit and KONE's global safety team. You will support leadership in implementing, maintaining, and advancing the KONE Way for Safety while providing technical expertise, oversight, and guidance across critical EHS initiatives. You will also drive EHS awareness and foster a culture of continuous improvement to strengthen safety performance and ensure a safe, compliant workplace.

You will bring 5+ years of progressive and successful safety, preferably in industrial sector to KONE. You will use the knowledge gained through your M.Sc., Bachelor of Science, or equivalent experience in the field.

Other Listed Duties

  • Conduct EHS compliance inspections and audits across multiple operational locations.

  • Develop, analyze, and report safety metrics, trends, and performance indicators.

  • Monitor regulatory changes and implement actions to maintain compliance.

  • Support the development of EHS competencies through training and technical guidance.

  • Represent the organization in safety-related interactions with external stakeholders.

Other Hiring requirements

  • Knowledge of business unit specific Federal, State, Provincial Environment (EPA), Health and Safety (OSHA) regulations.

  • Presentation and negotiation skills, technical training ability, detail oriented.

  • Problem solving, incident management, auditing and analysis skills.

  • Ability to work well in digital and mobile environment.

  • Project and change management experience.

  • Technological understanding.

Annual Base Pay Range:

The hiring range for this role in Allen, TX is $126,600 – $166,215. The compensation package offered will depend on candidate’s ability to meet the requirements of the role, needs for the business strategy, and a range of factors unique to each candidate, including their skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and location.

Variable Compensation

KONE Annual Bonus plan at 15% Target Incentive (60/40) based on achievement of company goals and individual goals.
