Full job description

Adecco is currently assisting a local customer in their search for Commodity Sourcing Specialist positions in Kansas City, MO . This is a great opportunity to further your existing skills in procurement and supply chain while gaining valuable experience within a leading transportation and manufacturing organization. Perks:

  • Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM

  • Pay: $28.00-$ 30.00/hour

Responsibilities:

  • Manage purchase orders, supplier communications, and on-time delivery performance to support production requirements

  • Review MRP demand signals, maintain inventory levels, and resolve material shortages

  • Evaluate supplier quotations, perform cost analysis, and support sourcing and procurement activities

  • Collaborate with production, engineering, quality, and warehouse teams to ensure material availability and operational efficiency

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred, and/or 5+ years of procurement or sourcing experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems, purchasing, supplier management, and inventory planning

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint

  • Ability to analyze costs, manage supplier relationships, and work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Pay Details: $28.00 to $30.00 per hour
