Schedule Details/Additional Information:

36 hours per week: 6-week self-scheduling 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM Every other weekend rotation, Minimal Holiday rotation (1 winter, 1 Summer)

Benefits:

  • Night shift differential: $5.00 per hour

  • Weekend differential: $4.00 per hour

Registered Nurse (RN) – Level 1 Float Pool: Med/Surg Areas Aurora West Allis Medical Center, 8901 W. Lincoln Ave., West Allis, Wi. 53227

Where You Will Work:

Aurora West Allis Medical Center’s Internal Float Pool Level 1:

Work in various units within one (1) facility brings variety and learning to your practice. Everyday can be a new journey that may open doors to a new specialty area you may have never previously considered. Opportunity to cross-train in a second specialty such as ICU, ER or Women's Health. Our Internal Med/Surg Float RNs bring versatility, clinical strength, and teamwork to every shift, ensuring high‑quality, compassionate care across multiple critical care areas within a single facility. Excellent opportunity to build your skill set, resume with showcasing your ability to be flexible, continue to build your practice and knowledge as an active learner in a wide variety of patient populations and be known for supporting the team as a knowledgeable and flexible resource.

We’re Looking For:

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing

  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers (AHA)

  • Experience: Minimum 1-year acute care RN experience (2 years strongly preferred)

  • Commitment to ongoing learning, adaptability, and teamwork across multiple care environments

Education:

Preferred: Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN)
