Schedule: Full time Shift: Day (United States of America) Address: 7050 GALL BLVD City: ZEPHYRHILLS State: Florida Postal Code: 33541 Job Description:
Manages hospital personnel and resources to meet standards, goals, and department requirements. Makes regular rounds to identify problems and facilitate efficient resolution. Reviews reports on hospital activities and initiate or respond with appropriate actions. Supports and implements established nursing care standards. Attends regular meetings with management to resolve problems, exchange information, and plan. Facilitates and coordinates resources to address unanticipated hospital situations. Serves as a clinical resource and educator for areas of patient care. Performs bed placement coordination and patient rounding to support department directors. Performs service recovery duties for patient and family complaints and issues. Provides temporary solutions to identified problems and communicate needed follow-up to appropriate individuals. Completes employee yearly evaluations and employee payroll for department. Provides clinical and administrative supervision after regular business hours. Other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Thorough understanding of hospital policies, procedures, and legal aspects of acute care nursing [Required]
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing [Required]
- Basic computer skills, including experience with an Electronic Health Record [Required]
- EPIC documentation [Preferred]
- Five or more years of nursing experience [Preferred]
- FEMA training-completed within six weeks of hire date [Required]
- Bedboard Management and Bed Assignments [Required]
- Ability to serve as Incident Commander [Required]
Education:
- Associate's of Nursing [Required]
- Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]
Field of Study:
- Cardiovascular Technology, Ultrasound Technology, Respiratory Care, Nursing, Radiology, Nuclear Medicine Technology or equivalent certification
Work Experience:
- 3+ acute care experience [Required]
- 3+ nursing management experience [Preferred]
Licenses and Certifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
- Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Required]
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS) [Required]

Pay Range:
$37.76 - $70.23 Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)
