Barclays Services Corp. seeks Data Analyst-AVP in Whippany, NJ (multiple positions).

JOB DUTIES:

  1. Develop, implement, and apply ML/AI/NLP/Deep Learning, Predictive Analytics, and Forecasting Models to support regulatory insights, dataquality trend analysis, and risk identification.

  2. Build, train, test, evaluate, and document models using Python and associated analytical libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy, scikit learn, SpaCy).

  3. Integrate models into reporting workflows, automation pipelines, or decision support tools; perform feature engineering.

  4. Analyze current reporting/operational processes to identify opportunities for automation and efficiency gains.

  5. Replace manual steps with end to end automated workflows using Python, VBA, Alteryx, and Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate/PowerApps).

  6. Standardized processes to improve scalability, capacity, reliability, and control effectiveness.

  7. Build interactive dashboards using Tableau.

  8. Source, prepare, validate, and transform data for regulatory reporting; maintain logic, lineage, and documentation in accordance with internal controls and external regulatory expectations.

  9. Build automated, repeatable regulatory reporting pipelines using Python, SQL, and Tableau.

  10. Apply data governance practices, including data quality controls, validation checks, metadata and lineage management, and adherence to policies for data integrity, security, accessibility, and regulatory compliance.

  11. Provide audit and regulatory examination support, including documentation, methodology explanations, evidence for controls testing, and responses to risk/compliance inquiries.

  12. Maintain and optimize database structures and queries supporting regulatory reporting and analytics across relational and/or cloud environments.

  13. Prepare technical documentation for regulatory reporting processes, automated workflows, data pipelines, and analytical models.

  14. Conduct end to end testing, including requirements validation, test planning, test case execution, UAT coordination, defect management, and production deployment readiness.

REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Master's Degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.

RATE OF PAY: $144,414 - $155,000/ year. The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above includes only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any another type of compensation or benefits that may be available. Barclays employees are eligible for a suite of a competitive and generous employee benefits, including medical, dental and vision coverage, 401(k), life insurance, and other paid leave for qualifying circumstances. This position is eligible for an incentive award.
