The successful candidate will perform hands-on tasks to manage and maintain our Microsoft 365 tenant and related tools. Our Microsoft 365 infrastructure is utilized across the globe; in this role the successful candidate will provide run and maintain support to our global organization and administer our Microsoft 365 tenant. Additional focus of this position will involve integration of M365 and related tools into global processes.
Essential Responsibilities

Manage and monitor Microsoft 365 services.

Document changes to the systems using change management best practices.

Maintain a highly secure system through proper configuration and system access monitoring.

Assist with the migration of large volumes of data into the cloud platform.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues with user access to cloud services.

Maintain a good understanding of upcoming changes to the platforms to assist with user change management.
-
Monitor and communicate to stakeholders the performance of the services.
-
Ensure service delivery meets the business requirements, based on defined SLAs.
-
Deliver consistent results for incident management and problem escalation.
-
Champion the adoption of Microsoft 365 services as appropriate for our business.
-
Assist with the creation of policies around the proper use of Microsoft 365 services and support.
-
Collaborate with other IT staff, including networking, security, and data center operation teams, to facilitate effective issue resolution.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
-
5+ years of relevant work experience, including with Exchange, on premise and/or online, administration.
-
2+ years of Microsoft 365 administration experience in an environment with over 10,000 users.
-
Microsoft 365 or other Microsoft certifications a plus.
-
Experienced and well versed in Microsoft environments.
-
Considerable knowledge of managing Microsoft 365 and other related cloud solutions.
-
Experience supporting users of Microsoft 365 globally.
-
Understanding of managing user authentication.
-
Ability to create advanced PowerShell scripts to schedule repeatable Microsoft 365 actions.

Knowledge of SMTP gateways, including security solutions
-
Knowledge of different Microsoft licenses, including E1 vs. E5.
-
Advanced PowerShell scripting knowledge for extracting reports and data on demand.
Additional Technical Skills
-
Deep knowledge of Microsoft Exchange and its interaction with Entra, Intune, and Active Directory.

Knowledge of Microsoft 365 Teams, Groups, Video, Copilot, and Power BI.
-
Supporting Microsoft Teams and troubleshooting call quality issues.
-
Experience managing directory synchronization into Entra AD is a plus.

Advanced skills managing Microsoft 365 using PowerShell.
-
Exporting usage and licensing information through Microsoft 365 reporting.
-
Deep understanding of supporting M365 applications.
